One man and his family had a fire at their previous apartment and had to move to a new apartment and funds were tight.

A single woman, having increasingly serious health problems, moved to an apartment with more handicap access and caused her funds to be depleted.

A husband and wife had their hours severely cut at work and it has been hard to pay bills.

There were many more situations where the $100 grant through CAIN has helped build a bridge over a rough patch in life.
